Marshal, teaching fire evacuation procedures,
fire drill procedures, use of extinguishers, fire
assembly procedures, all to the latest legal requirements.

FIRE
MARSHAL COURSE DETAILS
Duration - half day
Course aim is to enable candidates to carry out fire marshal
duties effectively in accordance with the relevant regulations
and organisational procedures
Learning outcomes:
The fire regulations
Thorough awareness of the organisational fire procedures
Pre- evacuation awareness
Duties of a fire marshal including:
Fire Alarms
Evacuation procedures
Accounting for personnel
Liaising with the fire brigade
Fire drills
Re-entry to the building
Special duties - disabled, visitors, contractors
Knowledge and use of relevant fire fighting equipment
There is a written question paper and the trainees will
be assessed on the practical element
FIRE AWARENESS IN THE WORKPLACE
Duration - Approximately a 2 hour course
Course aim is to enable candidates to gain a thorough awareness
of the dangers of an outbreak of fire in the workplace and
the safe precautions that should be taken.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the candidate will be able to display
a thorough understanding of:
The awareness of the dangers of fire
The elements of the fire triangle
What to do in an emergency
Reporting procedures
There is no pass or fail as it is an attendance course however
the trainee will complete a written question paper
All candidates will be certificated through RDM Industrial
Services Ltd.
